Overview

On behalf of our client, a 5* Luxury Resort with less than 100 units and 5 F&B outlets in Maldives, we are urgently seeking to recruit an EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER.

The resort is managed by a small luxury boutique resort group which manages about 10 luxury resorts all located on idyllic beaches on tropical islands in the region.

This property is still in pre-opening phase.

 

Job Description

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Resort

• Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard

• Prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget

• Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform

• Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures

• Prepare reports for management information

• Attending and resolving guest complaints

• Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (#1 in Housekeeping) in a 5 star property

• 5* Resort experience

• Experience working in remote locations

• 5* International Chain Hotel experience

• Experience in large operations, but also in stand-alone/boutique hotel environments

• Stable career path, no job hopper

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or related field

• Great personality and positive attitude

• Excellent English both spoken and written

• Computer literate

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Ability to drive and improve team performance

• Excellent communication and training skills

• Strong leadership (lead by example), tactical skills and result oriented

• Motivated and able to work independently

• Dynamic personality and creative mindset

• Should be very operational, a real hands-on/on-the-floor person

• Establishes challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide operation and performance

• Highly energetic, positive, enthusiastic

• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

• Highly responsible and reliable

We offer:

Salary: 40.000 - 45.000 USD per annum, plus

•            Service charge 

•            Year-end bonus

•            30 days vacation and 10 public holidays (can accumulate off days for additional vacation time)

•            Annual return ticket home

•            2 R&R ticket allowance of $500

•            medical insurance 

Accommodation: Single accommodation provided

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract period: Long-term
